Magic Hats

Pretty Pointless Post. Just seeing how well my ISO looks above 3200 and also my friend Amelia had the penthouse suit at Magic Mountain. So good with an opened upstairs level.

Landscapes and a Deer

Appendicitis and The O’B to the Ryan

My very good friend Jake O'Brien has just gone into hospital with a very bad case of a Appendicitis. They have obviously removed it before explosion but is still in hospital for another day or two so they can pump him full of antibiotics so he can fell good again. Here is a photo of him a day or two before the sharp pain kicked in jamming for me on the drums for an assignment i had to do. Well looking at the high hat.

Thanks Jake and hope you fell better soon.

HasselHoff

My mate Ben was kind enough to lend me his Hasselblad for and Architecture shoot I had to do. One of the best cameras I have ever used. So much fun. Anyway here are a couple of photos i got from it. The reason for those overexposed bits on the B+W images is where i was clumsy and dropped the film and it started to unravel and just caught it before it came of the spool. But i don't mind the final look i got out of it.

BATS

Yesterday Jeff, Hayze (navman) and I went to the Fort to put up some photos for the Bats Issue 5 launch party. It's so good to see what the bats girls are doing. They are creating quite a buzz with their zine. Anyway try and get a copy of the latest issue, it has some tantalizing and quirky articles in it along with a some good photos and art. Also put in some of Jeffs photos in the mag and let me put some photos on display aswell. Check out the blog here or the site here.

This is coped of Jeffs blog just changed our name around, thanks Jeff aha

Fire Factory

Daniel and I went for a drive south west of Brisbane doing some sort of research for an assignment. Any way we stumbled across a massive abandoned warehouse. So thought we would have a look around . In no time at all one of the care takers drove over to us and asked us what we where doing. This guy was covered in tats missing teeth and we were expecting some abusive treatment but he was actually quite nice and told us the story of what had happened to this place. He said" this use to be a four story building but there was a fire here years ago and the bottom leavel is the only thing reaminig," the place was used to store toilet paper, mattress and wooden furniture". He said it was one of the biggest fire's that Brisbane has ever had. Also the place as constructed with a lot of asbestos and was closed off for a couple of years. So if this fume was to be breathed in there is a high chance of getting cancer. Its still not know today how the fire started.

The place just looks like a scrap yard now with old American car's shipping containers shit everywhere really. So here are some photos trying to avoid all the crap but still how you the end result of this place before the Brisbane City Council tears it down and prepare for another busy-way or train station.
And the guy with the tats and missing teeth , his name was Fudge.

Sharkray Cross Breed?

I was walking along the beach this morning doing photos for an assignment and nearly stood on this freakish thing. I thought it was a sting ray at first sight but a shark like tail continued from its head down. Im pretty sure its some sort of shark or bottom feeder by looking at it, but if anyone no what it is i would like to no as it was just up from Nobbys beach. Be still freaky if you saw it while you where out surfing or whatever.

thanks to gidd, its a shovel nose shark.

Levingston's Lubitel

Jeff was kind enough to let me take his Lubitel out for a couple of days. The photos are taken from around Brisbane and the southern part of Brisbane and of course the Gold Coast. I developed and processed them at tech. There full of contrast.
